Countering and neutralizing terrorist crimes, means of identification terrorist cells, as well as the investigation and prosecution of financing terrorism are among the main topics of an international seminar that the Prosecutors General of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey, Borislav Sarafov and Bekir Shahin, opened in the training base of the Prosecutor's Office in Tsigov chark.
The forum is part of an official visit to our country by the Prosecutor General within the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Turkey, Bekir Shahin and a delegation of magistrates led by him.
During the seminar, good practices will be exchanged and the legislative database will be reviewed regarding measures of countering terrorism and its financing. The forum is attended by magistrates from the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, investigators from the National Investigation Service, representatives of the General Directorate Combating Organized Crime within the Ministry of Interior, State Agency for National Security, as well as prosecutors from the Republic of Turkey.
On his visit to our country, the Turkish Prosecutor Genera, Bekir Shahin will hold meetings with representatives of the judiciary, the Ministry of the Interior and the security services.
The Prosecutor General within the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Turkey, Bekir Shahin, is on a visit in Bulgaria in response to the visit of a delegation from the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office led by the Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov in Ankara last year.
