The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ivan Geshev is on a visit to the United States of America to participate in the 71st National Prayer Breakfast, given by the US President Joe Biden. Ivan Geshev’s visit to the USA was at the invitation of congressmen. The event takes place in Washington on the first Thursday of February, with the House and Senate taking turns chairing the breakfast.
The traditional Annual National Prayer Breakfast is attended by representatives of the American political and economic elite, congressmen, members of the government, as well as guests from more than 140 countries. The forum provides an opportunity to build personal relationships and strengthen contacts between prominent public figures and leaders from around the world, sharing common values of tolerance, protection of human freedoms and democracy.
Within the framework of the visit of the Prosecutor General to the USA, a series of meetings are planned, as well as participation in international forums.
