Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office refers to the Ministry of Interior and Sofia Municipality to take measures related to the protection of public order and protection of the rights and health of citizens during the so-called “Lukovmarsh”

In accordance with its powers and on the grounds of Article 145, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Judiciary Act (JSA), the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor's Office (SAP) referred to the Minister of Interior and the Mayor of Sofia Municipality, within their competence by law, to take measures to compliance with the applicable regulations in order to protect public order and protect the rights of all citizens in cases of danger during the so-called “Lukovmarsh”.

The Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office has received data and opinions from the Chief State Health Inspector and the Director of the Sofia City Directorate of Interior, related to alleged risks for violations of anti-epidemic measures and public order.

In view of the above and in accordance with its powers, the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office refers to the competent authorities to take measures to prevent breaches of public order and to protect the rights and health of citizens in connection with the event.

The Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office should be informed for the decisions and actions taken.
