Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov is on a working visit to the State of Israel. The visit is at the invitation of the Ministry of Justice of Israel and will be carried out as a joint visit together with leaders and high representatives of Prosecutor’s Offices from EU Member States, United States etc.
Working meetings are planned with Israel's Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and State Attorney Amit Aisman, as well as other senior representatives of Israel's prosecution and security services.
Main topics of the talks will be the joint efforts of the international community to counter terrorism, the investigation and bringing to justice the perpetrators of terrorist acts, their financing and organization. The participants will pay tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place on October 7, 2023.
During the two-day visit, Acting Prosecutor Borislav Sarafov will also have a meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian community in the State of Israel.
