During his visit to London, Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Borislav Sarafov held a working meeting with the Director General of Operations of the National Crime Agency (NCA) of the UK Rob Jones. They discussed specific criminal law cases and international cooperation in countering crime and corruption.
Rob Jones, who leads NCA investigations globally, expressed his gratitude and appreciated the contribution of Borislav Sarafov for the excellent cooperation between the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office and the British Agency's Office in Sofia. The key role of the Acting Prosecutor General in curbing the illegal migration flow to the UK over the last two years was highlighted.
The Acting Prosecutor General held a series of meetings with senior representatives of British law enforcement agencies to discuss the exchange of experience in the fight against cybercrime, tracing assets acquired through cryptocurrency fraud, etc.
