Today, 09 October 2023, delegation headed by Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov, was received by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Türkye, Mehmet Akarca, and by the Turkish Prosecutor General Bekir Şahin.
The Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria, Kalin Stoyanov, also participated in the meeting. The official visit to the Republic of Türkye is at the invitation of the Turkish Prosecutor General.

During the official talks, a high level of trust and traditionally good cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of the two neighboring countries was established.
The contribution of Türkye and Bulgaria in curbing illegal migration in the region was also emphasized. The two delegations also discussed other aspects of legal cooperation, including countering cross-border organized crime and the fight against terrorism.
