Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Borislav Sarafov held a working meeting with Jari Liukku, Head of the European Serious Organised Crime Centre at Europol and Georgios Raskos, Head of the EU Organised Crime Unit at the Agency.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner Zhivko Kotsev, Director of the International Operational Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, Damyan Lechev and Angel Kanev from the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office also participated in the conversation.
The focus of the conversation was the good operational cooperation between the Bulgarian law enforcement authorities and Europol in the context of the 20th anniversary of cooperation between the national authorities and the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol).
