Today, December 6, 2022, Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and Prosecutor General of Lithuania Nida Grunskenė held a working meeting. Both leaders discussed the challenges facing both countries in strengthening the rule of law in EU member states.
The Prosecutor General of Lithuania, Nida Grunskenė, is in Bulgaria to participate in the two-day international conference "STOP HATE SPEECH", organized by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria together with the European Jewish Association. Ivan Geshev thanked Nida Grunskene for her participation in the forum.
Issues of bilateral interest were discussed as well as current security challenges, good practices were exchanged for countering cross-border organized crime and cybercrime, were shared.
