The Specialized Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against a leader of a political party for espionage
The Specialized Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in the Specialized Criminal Court against a leader of a political party, for serving as a spy for the benefit of a foreign organization in order to disclose information constituting a state secret.
In the course of the investigation numerous actions were carried out - interviews of witnesses, search, seizure, two computer-technical examinations were prepared, graphological examination of the physical evidence, relevant references and documents were collected.
The pre-trial proceedings were instituted under Article 212, paragraph 1 of the Criminal-procedure Code.
