As of July 12, 2021, a total of 85 pre-trial proceedings have been instituted for violations of the political rights of citizens based on the reports by prosecutors on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. Numerous investigative actions have been carried out in the pre-trial proceedings - searches and seizures, searches and interrogations of witnesses, and the evidence is to be analyzed.
Currently, 9 people have been accused. The total number of monitored files related to the elections for the 46th National Assambley is 1159. The data is based on signals received from citizens, SANS and the bodies of the Ministry of Interior, reporting about potential violation of the political rights of citizens.
