Specialized Prosecutor's Office will request assistance from scientists and independent specialists in archeology from EU countries for the preparation of an expert assessment of the items seized from the office of NOVE INTERNAL EOOD with signs of movable cultural values

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office will request the assistance of scientists and independent specialists with international recognition in the field of archeology, to assign them the preparation of expert assessments of the objects seized from the building of NOVE INTERNAL EOOD in Sofia with the marks of cultural and historical values.

The seized objects, a total of 6778 pieces, possessing marks of movable cultural values, are currently stored in the National History Museum in compliance with the approved rules and with security provided by the Ministry of Interior.

In view of the objective and indisputable assessment of the seized items, which according to the indictment were illegally acquired and held by the accused VB, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office began talks with leading archaeologists from the Federal Republic of Germany, Italy and other EU member states. They will have the task to establish the current status, the cultural-historical and financial value of the material evidence seized in the case, possessing the marks of movable cultural values.

Given the persistently false allegations in the public space regarding the items seized from the premises in the building at 43 Moskovska Street, as well as in order to ensure transparency of the activities of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutors supervising the case, according to Article 198 of the Criminal Procedure Code, gave permission to publish video material and photos of seized material evidence stored in the National History Museum.
