Two years of "probation" is the punishment of the defendant D.S., 20 years old, for hooliganism committed by him, characterized by extreme impudence, as well as for causing minor bodily harm on hooligan motives against two persons during a party gathering of a political party in the capital.
The defendant D.S. pleaded guilty to indecent acts on 05.08.2020 in the area of Sofia Tech Park, Sofia, grossly violating public order and expressing obvious disrespect for society, snatching a mobile phone from the hand of journalist P.P. and demonstratively threw it away.
The act is characterized by its extreme audacity. D.S. did it while P.P. and other journalists took pictures of his actions in front of a number of people during a party gathering of a political party.
D.S. was also found guilty for struck with a fist N.A. in the abdomen at the same date and place, causing him minor bodily injury (abdominal injury), as the act was committed on hooligan motives, in a public place in case of demonstrative and contemptuous attitude towards the inviolability of the person and the established legal order, without being provoked by the victim N.A. and in the absence of a personal motive for his conduct. At the same place, the defendant struck with a fist J.H. in the jaw and shoulder, causing him minor bodily injury, pain and suffering without a health disorder, and the act was also committed with hooligan motives, in public place without being provoked by J.H. and in the absence of a personal motive for his conduct.
D.S. has admitted his guilt by refusing to hear the case in the general procedure. For all acts with a ruling of the Sofia District Court, which approved the agreement reached, D.S. the most severe punishment was imposed - "probation" for a period of two years.
The following probation measures are defined - mandatory registration at the current address with periodicity of appearing and signing before a probation officer twice a week, mandatory periodic meetings with a probation officer and inclusion in public impact courses.
That order of the court has the character of a final verdict and is not subject to protest and appeal.
