The Supreme Cassation Prosecutor's Office (SCPO) on its own initiative referred a matter on the occasion of a publication dated July 21, 2020 on the information site Dnevnik.bg, entitled: "Hristo Ivanov: Mr. Geshev, will you notice Dogan's philosopher's stone?"

The Supreme Prosecution Office will check whether any files / pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in connection with the allegations made in the publication. If crimes are found to be committed in the course of inspection, they will be reported to the competent Prosecutor's Office.

In case of irregularities of an administrative nature, the Prosecutor's Office will notify the relevant control authorities for taking action on competence.

The Supreme Prosecution Office will inform the Bulgarian public about the results of the inspection after its completion.
